  • If your child is in main school, school times are as follows:
    School Starts: 9am
    Lunch time: 12.15pm to 1pm
    School finishes: 3.15pm

  • Your child will need to be on the  Playground  between 8.50am and 9am. School is open and children may come into school at any time between 8.50 and 9am. A member of staff will be on duty to pass on any messages you may have for the class teacher.
    At hometime, the children will be released from the hall or rear doors into the playground at 3.15pm. Parents are asked to wait in the playground to collect their children.​
    If you are late to school, please take your children to the main office. If you wish to pick your child up early for an appointment, please go to the main office.

    Our school dinners are now provided by Entrust Catering Services. School dinners should to be paid for in advance. You may pay daily, or pay for several meals in advance e.g. weekly, or half-termly if you wish. If a meal has not been paid for, we will send a slip to remind you.

    Money can be handed in to the school office, or sent in with your child. Please put money in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, amount and what the money is for.

  • School uniform is available from SuperSports in Leek. We have created a range of options for uniform to allow you to make a choice to suit your child. Children need to wear:

    • grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
    • white or light blue polo shirt
    • navy jumper, cardigan or fleece
    • black shoes

    For PE, children need to wear:

    • white T-shirt and blue shorts
    • black PE pumps or trainers
    • warm outside sportswear, such as jogging bottoms, track suits etc if the weather is cold (optional)

    The following items are also available, but are optional:

    • ​school coat
    • school cap
    • warm school hat
    • school book bag
    • school PE bag

    Your child will need to come to school with a warm school coat, a book bag and PE kit.

    ​​Please label ALL items of clothing with your child’s full name.​

  • ​​​Come and talk to us, the sooner the better. We will always try to make someone available to talk to you.

  • You need to request authorised time off. The national guidelines on authorising absence in term time have recently changed. Have a look at our attendance guidelines ​​​​for more information. You MUST complete a request for absence before you go on holiday. A request form can be obtained from the school office.
